I've been interested in a movement involving the use of handicraft to create new art forms for a while now. It seems to be everywhere nowadays. I was having a talk with Kristin one day about the use of traditional craft methods, like lace, to create new forms and she mentioned this TED video that she'd seen. She sent it to me this afternoon and I just had to post it. It's one of the most incredible and inspiring projects I've ever seen.

  4. I know! I did the same thing! As soon as I saw that J. K. Rowling gave a talk, it sent me off on a tangent!
